Malta Spirit is the honest planner for Malta, Gozo and Comino. We help travelers skip the tourist traps, find the real corners of the Maltese islands and book activities through a transparent affiliate model that costs them nothing extra.
Who is behind this site
Malta Spirit is published by Agence Xen, an independent travel publishing studio based in Switzerland. We also run sister sites for Oman, Georgia, Costa Rica, Morocco and other destinations — always with the same editorial line: deep field research, no junkets, no hidden partnerships.
We are travelers first and publishers second. Every itinerary on this site has been walked, every ferry timing has been checked, and every restaurant recommendation comes from a real meal — not from a press kit.
Why Malta Spirit exists
Malta is one of the most over-summarized destinations in Europe. Most online guides are either institutional (visitmalta.com) without opinions, or commercial blogs running on outdated 2019 data. Cruise stops dominate the SERPs, hiding the slow, deep version of Malta that actually rewards a proper trip.
We built this site because we wanted the Malta planner we could not find: one that says "skip Blue Lagoon at midday in August" rather than reposting the postcard for the 50th time.

How we make money
Malta Spirit is a free, ad-light website. We earn commissions when readers book activities through our GetYourGuide affiliate links. This costs you nothing extra: GYG pays us a small cut from what they would have earned anyway. We never recommend operators we have not vetted, and we never hide that a link is affiliated.
We do not run sponsored posts, we do not sell ad slots to local operators, and we do not have proprietary tour packages we are pushing. Our incentive is simple: be useful enough that travelers come back and bookmark the site.
